Protocols

Groupings that appear together in the literature. Intellectual shelves, not prescriptions.

Recovery

Tissue-repair reference pair

BPC-157 and the actin-binding motif of thymosin β4 are the two sequences most often cited together in injury-model literature.

  • Treat them as two mechanisms: cytoprotection / angiogenesis versus cytoskeletal remodeling.
  • Typical catalog reconstitutions are 5 mg in 2 mL, which is 2.5 mg/mL.
  • GHK-Cu is the dermal-remodeling neighbor, not a substitute.

Preclinical pairing is not a clinical protocol. No dosing advice is implied.

Metabolic

Orthogonal GH secretagogues

A short-acting GHRH analog plus a selective ghrelin-receptor agonist — two receptors, one gland.

  • No-DAC CJC-1295 is the pulsatile analog; do not confuse it with the Drug Affinity Complex form.
  • Ipamorelin is documented as relatively spare on cortisol and prolactin versus older GHRPs.
  • Tesamorelin is the clinical-grade GHRH reference if you need an approved-molecule benchmark.

Secretagogues are not growth hormone. They assume an intact pituitary axis in whatever system you are studying.

Metabolic

Incretin-receptor map

GLP-1 versus dual agonists and GLP-3 — same neighborhood of energy-balance research, different receptor counts.

  • Both are acylated; albumin binding is the half-life trick.
  • Large, sticky peptides. Use low-binding plastics for quantitative work.
  • AOD-9604 is a hormone fragment, not an incretin — keep it on a different shelf intellectually.

Registered medicines exist for both. Research-grade powder is not those products.

Longevity

Mitochondrial and pineal notes

A mitochondrial-encoded 16-mer and a pineal tetrapeptide — two short sequences used in aging-adjacent assays.

  • MOTS-c is an MDP with AMPK-linked literature.
  • Epithalon’s telomerase claims sit in a narrow corpus; sequence identity is the solid fact.
  • Neither is a secretagogue or an incretin.

Longevity language is where peptide writing goes to invent. Prefer receptors, masses, and papers.

Cognitive

Regulatory neuropeptides

Two Russian-school heptapeptides used as references in anxiolytic and neurotrophic experimental work.

  • Selank is tuftsin-derived; Semax is an ACTH(4–7) analog.
  • Both are short-lived; literature often discusses fragments and gene-expression after-effects.
  • Methionine in Semax is a storage liability.

Limited independent replication. Useful as sequences; modest as conclusions.
